We are currently seeking a dedicated and goal-oriented individual for the role of Assistant Production Manager in our Auto Salvage & Recycling division. As the Assistant Production Manager, you will work closely with the Production Manager at our Memphis location. Your primary responsibility will be to foster a culture that prioritizes safety and environmental stewardship while adhering to health and safety standards. You will be responsible for overseeing all production-related functions, ensuring that our core values of Respect, Help, Learn, and Grow are exemplified in every aspect of our operations. This includes maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the facility, delivering exceptional customer service, and managing relationships with vendors and suppliers. In this role, you will also be tasked with managing the production team, executing company policies and standard operating procedures, and motivating team members to meet daily performance goals. You will play a crucial role in hiring, training, and developing employees, as well as auditing and recording inventory levels. The position requires a commitment to working production hours, which typically run Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime, weekends, and holidays. You will be expected to work in an industrial environment, both indoors and outdoors, and operate heavy equipment such as loaders and forklifts.
