About the position

The Assistant Production Manager - Mold/Water Restoration plays a crucial role in overseeing restoration projects, ensuring quality work and customer service. This position involves leading and training restoration technicians, managing project budgets, and supporting high-profile projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning, restoration, and construction, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project oversight to crews through job starts and final walkthroughs to ensure quality.
  • Provide onsite training and coaching to technicians.
  • Support and lead recurring Toolbox Talk training sessions.
  • Monitor crews' ability to adhere to project budgets.
  • Provide review and oversight of development of change orders.
  • Provide updates and escalate issues to the Production Manager.
  • Support high profile projects acting in Project Manager role.
  • Ability to communicate project plans with confidence to customers.
  • Review mold assessor/hygienist reports and development of remediation plans.
  • Provide over-the-phone support to crews.
  • Support in the management of supplies ordering, fleet maintenance, equipment monitoring.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle along with clean equipment.
  • Recognize potential mold to properly contain it.
  • Review data reports and write all or portions of project technical and summary reports.
  • Detailed documentation including photos, dry book, monitoring, notes and customer input.
  • Ability to multi-task in a complex and sometimes quickly changing environment.
  • Support business development activities as needed.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the company on and off the clock.
  • Deliver 5-star service to homeowners and obtain reviews.

Requirements

  • Experience in Water damage restoration is required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (no suspensions in previous 3 years, or major violation in previous 5).
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • General experience in the cleaning, restoration, construction industry.
  • IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, others) are a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Lee, Charlotte & Collier County area (Driving directions, areas, etc.).
  • Willingness to undergo background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record pull.
