The Department of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee seeks to hire two full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty positions, one at the rank of Assistant Professor and the other to be appointed at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor commensurate with qualifications and experience. Duties include advancing a robust program of research while maintaining a strong commitment to teaching and mentorship along with service to the department, university, profession, and community. The typical teaching load is 4 courses per year (2 courses per semester). The anticipated start date for the 9-month appointments are August 25, 2025.

Requirements

  • PhD in social work or a related field
  • ABD candidates will be considered if degree completion is by the start date
