About The Position
Nova Southeastern University (NSU) is seeking an Assistant Professor in Chemistry to join our team in Fort Lauderdale-Davie, Florida. This is a full-time position with full benefits, where the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the equivalent of eight undergraduate courses per year in various formats, including on-campus days, evenings, off-campus, and online. The role also involves participation in curriculum and program development, maintaining regular office hours for student advising, and contributing to college and university committees. The Assistant Professor will engage in community service and participate in university functions that enhance campus life, such as athletic events and orientations. Professional development activities are encouraged, and other duties may be assigned by the Director of Math, Science, and Technology or the Dean.
