About the position

The University of Pennsylvania is seeking candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track within the Division of Neonatology & Newborn Services. This role involves teaching, clinical care, and research responsibilities, focusing on providing high-quality education and clinical services in neonatology.

Responsibilities

  • Teach clinical education to medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Provide formal lectures within the Division and Department.
  • Deliver outstanding clinical care in the Level IV NICU at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Level III NICU at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
  • Offer outpatient and inpatient consultative services.
  • Engage in clinical or basic research studies based on personal interests.

Requirements

  • M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree required.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics.
  • Evidence of scholarship is required for the Clinician-Educator track.
