About the position

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice for the Behavioral Science Department, starting August 15, 2025. Responsibilities

• Teach four courses per semester, including Introduction to Criminal Justice and Policing in America.
• Serve as the Program Director of Criminal Justice, acting as the program contact for students and coordinating events.
• Participate in department and college service, including data collection for program assessment and attending meetings.
• Engage in research in the applicant's area of expertise and participate in professional development activities.

Requirements

• PhD in Criminal Justice, Sociology, or a related field, or a JD.
• One academic year of collegiate teaching experience in Criminal Justice or a related field.
