About the position
The University of Cincinnati is seeking a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor Educator in Hospitality Management for its Clermont and Blue Ash campuses. This role involves leading the new Hospitality Management program, which includes an Associate's Degree launching in Fall 2025 and a Bachelor's Degree in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality undergraduate education, both online and in-person, while collaborating with hospitality and tourism organizations to enhance student learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assume the role of Program Director for the new Associate Degree in Hospitality Management launching in Fall 2025.
- Lead the development and implementation of the Bachelor's Degree program in Hospitality Management launching in Fall 2026.
- Deliver outstanding undergraduate teaching in both online and classroom settings.
- Collaborate with regional and national hospitality and tourism organizations to create experiential learning opportunities for students.
- Support student success and retention through effective teaching and mentoring.
Requirements
- Demonstrated record of outstanding undergraduate teaching experience, both online and in-person.
- Ability to work collaboratively with industry organizations.
- Strong background in hospitality management principles and practices.

- Familiarity with current trends in the hospitality industry.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within an academic setting.
