Responsibilities

• Teach courses in genetics, bioinformatics, and introductory cellular and molecular biology.
• Develop new courses in the applicant's area of expertise.
• Conduct research with a focus on human health and disease.
• Seek external funding for research initiatives.
• Provide service to the discipline and department.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in biological sciences or related field, or an M.D.
• Track record of peer-reviewed publications.
• Postdoctoral experience is desired.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in computational analysis of large-scale DNA/RNA sequence data.
• Proficiency in molecular, cellular, and/or microbiology.
