About The Position

The Department of Environmental and Plant Biology at Ohio University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Environmental and Plant Stress Biology. This full-time position focuses on conducting basic research in plant stress interactions, with an emphasis on applied outcomes that address real-world environmental challenges. The successful candidate will engage in a multidisciplinary research agenda, contribute to teaching, and mentor students, with a balanced effort across research, teaching, and service.

Requirements

  • PhD in Plant Pathology, Plant and Microbial Biology, Plant Environmental Sciences, Plant Physiology, or other relevant disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct basic research in plant stress interactions.

  • Mentor and advise graduate and undergraduate students.
