The University of Southern Maine's School of Business is seeking applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track faculty position in Marketing at the Assistant Professor rank, set to begin in Fall 2025. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in marketing strategy and technology, particularly in areas such as digital marketing, social media technology, and other emerging platforms. A strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of marketing is essential, with an emphasis on leveraging technology to enhance marketing insights. This position requires on-campus, in-person teaching, although there are opportunities to engage in online delivery modalities as well. The School of Business is looking for dynamic individuals who are passionate about teaching and committed to quality research. Responsibilities for this role include teaching three undergraduate classes per semester, maintaining an active research program, advising students, supervising internships, and participating in university and professional service. There may also be opportunities to teach in the MBA program at the Maine Business School. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with colleagues in the School of Business and contribute to the growth of USM's marketing major over the next decade.
