About the position

Saint Mary's College of California is seeking a dynamic and highly qualified individual for a full-time tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Marketing. This role is designed for those passionate about teaching in a small liberal arts environment, engaging in collaborative research, and contributing to a vibrant and diverse collegiate community. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, conducting innovative research, and participating actively in departmental and college service.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing, including Digital Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communication, Marketing Research, Marketing Analytics, and Marketing Management.
  • Participate in college-wide programs such as Collegiate Seminar and January Term.
  • Mentor students, including academic advising, and contribute to the mission of the College.
  • Engage in collaborative research with colleagues and students.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • A strong record of research and scholarly contributions in Marketing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with blended course formats and online teaching.
  • Familiarity with AACSB accreditation standards.
