About the position
Illinois College is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor of Physics to join the Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, and Engineering department, focusing primarily on teaching introductory physics courses. Responsibilities
- Teach the introductory physics sequence and engineering courses such as Statics and Dynamics.
- Engage in curriculum development and student recruitment efforts.
- Support the department's research initiatives and oversee lab equipment.
- Assist with ABET accreditation processes.
- Participate in collaborative research projects with students.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Physics or Engineering required.
- Ph.D. or ABD preferred.
