About the position

The Assistant Professor of Planning, Landscape Architecture and Design at the University of Oklahoma is a practice-oriented teaching role focused on community planning and design projects. The position involves teaching 4 to 6 courses per academic year in the undergraduate Environmental Design program and contributing to the Institute for Quality Communities (IQC) through professional project-based work. The balance between teaching and project work may vary based on the needs of the IQC and the Environmental Design program, allowing for a flexible approach to fulfilling both responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Teach 4 to 6 courses per academic year in the undergraduate Environmental Design program.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a discipline represented in Gibbs College or a related field.
