About the position

Purdue University's Brian Lamb School of Communication is seeking an Assistant Professor of Practice in Advertising to teach and mentor undergraduate students in the Public Relations and Strategic Communication concentration. Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in advertising, public relations, and strategic communication.
  • Mentor undergraduate and graduate students, particularly those pursuing non-academic career goals.
  • Advise the student American Advertising Federation (AAF) chapter.
  • Develop course materials and assessments for advertising courses.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments and programs.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in advertising, communication, marketing, or a related field by the start date of the appointment.
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in advertising, public relations, or marketing.
