About the position
The Department of Psychological Sciences at Western Kentucky University is seeking a full-time tenure-eligible faculty member for the position of Assistant Professor in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. This role involves teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, conducting research, and engaging in departmental service. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to the Industrial-Organizational M.S. program and will be expected to establish an active research program while seeking external funding and corporate partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in industrial-organizational psychology.
- Establish an active program of basic and applied research in industrial-organizational psychology.
- Seek opportunities for external funding and corporate partnerships.
- Direct theses and internships in the I/O master's program.
- Participate in service at the department, college, and university level.
Requirements
- A Doctorate in Industrial-Organizational Psychology by the time of appointment.
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in research, teaching, and service.
