About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience in human services.
  • MAP certification is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Dependability, compassion, and patience in providing care.
  • Flexibility to adapt to diverse needs and communication styles.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and unexpected situations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication management, and transportation.
  • Create a warm and safe environment that empowers individuals to thrive.
  • Utilize positive behavior support methods to address challenges and promote skill development.
  • Collaborate with therapists, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
