About the position

The Assistant Program Coordinator at CBH Care plays a crucial role in the clinical management of individuals and families, ensuring that they receive the necessary support and services. This position involves coordinating meetings with external agencies to facilitate comprehensive care for consumers. The Assistant Program Coordinator is responsible for providing weekly therapy sessions and developing tailored treatment plans for each consumer on their caseload, ensuring that all documentation related to consumer care is completed in a timely manner. In addition to direct clinical responsibilities, the Assistant Program Coordinator serves as a liaison to the Adolescent Partial Care Program (New Directions) and collaborates with schools to support the needs of adolescents in the program. The role also includes overseeing the daily operations of the program, which involves coordinating staff schedules and providing supervision to staff members. In the absence of the Program Coordinator, the Assistant Program Coordinator is expected to fill in and manage the program effectively. On-call coverage is also a requirement of this position, ensuring that support is available when needed. This role is essential in maintaining the quality of care provided to consumers and requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about youth mental health services and committed to professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the clinical management of individuals and families and coordinating meetings with external agencies
  • Provides weekly therapy sessions and develops treatment plans for consumers on caseload
  • Ensures all consumer related documentation is completed in a timely manner
  • Serves as a liaison to Adolescent Partial Care Program (New Directions) and to schools
  • Oversees daily running of program, coordinating staff schedules
  • Provide staff supervision
  • Fills in for Program Coordinator in his/her absence
  • Must be able to provide on call coverage

Requirements

  • MSW in social work, MA in psychology, or a related field
  • LAC or LSW required
  • One year of previous experience in the provision of youth mental health services
  • Valid New Jersey driver's license
