About the position

The Assistant Program Manager for the Adolescent Residential Program will support the Program Manager in overseeing the administrative and operational aspects of the program. This role involves supervising Residential Associate staff, ensuring quality service delivery, and fostering a safe and nurturing environment for residents and their children. The Assistant Program Manager will also collaborate with clinical staff to promote resident health and maximize outcomes, utilizing the Nurtured Heart Approach© in all interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Residential Associate staff and support their development.
  • Ensure quality service delivery in collaboration with clinical staff.
  • Promote a safe and nurturing environment for residents and their children.
  • Participate in safety programs and promote client safety.
  • Maintain compliance with state, licensing, regulatory, and funding sources.
  • Facilitate training programs to enhance teamwork and communication.
  • Assist with referral tracking and program service statistics.
  • Oversee proper orientation and training of staff.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment is maintained.
  • Assist with client assessments and intakes for program admission.
  • Collaborate with clinical team on behavior modification interventions.
  • Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for client care.
  • Attend training sessions and conferences for skill enhancement.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field with 3 years' experience in a residential or inpatient behavioral health treatment program, including 1 year in a supervisory role, OR Bachelor's degree with 5 years' experience and 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • LAC/LPC or LSW/LCSW preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle daily changing needs with compassion.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a residential or inpatient hospital behavioral health treatment program.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
