About the position

The Assistant Project Coordinator Construction plays a crucial role in supporting project managers by processing RFIs and submittals, coordinating proposals, presentations, and manuals, and ensuring timely project completion. This position is essential for maintaining communication among project stakeholders and managing project documentation effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers in weekly scheduling process
  • Monitor active job list for required project completion dates
  • Develop project folders and job setup packages
  • Obtain project permits
  • Inform and update project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and site superintendent regularly to meet client objectives
  • Support in the development of closeout checklists and prepare project closeout documentation
  • Assist in job walk meetings and project site visits
  • Maintain inventory
  • Respond rapidly to any issues reported on the log sheet
  • Support the monitoring of the system management tools and operations application software

Requirements

  • 1-2 years related experience or Associate Degree and/or training
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Project
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Clean motor vehicle report (MVR)
