About the position

The Assistant Project Manager at Axis Construction Management, LLC plays a crucial role in supporting the project management team in overseeing commercial construction projects. This position focuses on ensuring project efficiency, effective communication, and coordination among team members, subcontractors, and clients, contributing to the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates on timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure all project requirements are met.
• Help manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and schedules.
• Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders to address issues and resolve conflicts.
• Support the preparation of project reports and presentations for management and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction or project management.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and project timelines.
• Proficient in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
