The Assistant Project Manager for Building Automation Systems at The Comfort Group is a vital role that supports the planning, execution, and completion of various building automation projects. Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and management of building automation projects from initiation to closeout.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Support the development of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and clients.
- Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in project management or construction industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) or HVAC systems is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
