The ideal candidate will be responsible to support the project manager to complete construction projects by planning, organizing, and controlling all elements of the project, with knowledge about concrete mix designs, its components, intended uses, procedures and safety regulations, working hand by hand with the project manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering / Construction from four-year college or university
  • 2+ years of previous experience in Concrete construction industry
  • Strong Knowledge in Data base management, Sage, AutoCAD, IntelliCAD, Revit, Topcon Robotics, and MS Office Suite.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Knowledge of project management, scheduling, resource management and estimating.

Responsibilities

  • Review project plans and proposals, then works with management to develop project objectives.
  • Identifies project responsibilities by determining the phases and elements of the project.
  • Calculates time frames and sequences the stages of the project.
  • Assist the estimating department with take-offs and estimates for different customers.
  • Reviews vendor/subcontractor quotes; interviews and assigns personnel to specific phases and elements of the project.
  • Review contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure proper coordination and installation.
  • Prepare material and documentation based on the plans for each project and regulations.
  • Prepare status reports and regularly monitors budgets, crews, and schedules.
  • Prepare line and grade work for building layout and control as required.
