About the position

The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will play a crucial role in supporting the construction team to develop and execute innovative housing solutions in Southern California. This position focuses on ensuring the timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality completion of housing projects aimed at addressing the housing crisis for moderate- and low-income households.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and within scope.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to implement project plans and schedules.
  • Monitor project progress and report on status to senior management.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project management or construction management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
