About the position

The Assistant Project Manager & Project Engineer will support Senior Project Managers in overseeing major Design/Build projects across various sectors including Commercial, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Food & Beverage. This role is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in project management within a leading construction firm, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Project Managers in coordinating all phases of project design and construction.
• Ensure project schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met or exceeded.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to execute project tasks.
• Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify potential risks and proactively contribute to problem-solving to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-5 years as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager within a General Contractor or subcontractor environment.
