About the position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope. You will collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication and project coordination.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure timely completion.
- Utilize project management software such as ProCore or Prolog for tracking progress.
- Review schematics and blueprints to understand project specifications.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project status.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Support the preparation of reports and documentation related to project milestones.
- Collaborate with team members to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management or coordination within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, or Primavera is preferred.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of schematics and blueprints related to construction projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols is a plus.
- A degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
