About the position

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site investigations, project planning, and budget management. This role involves providing regular project updates, ensuring compliance with regulations, and conducting technical reviews. You will also interface with clients to meet their needs and utilize various tools for site evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and manage site evaluations.
  • Define project goals, activities, and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets.
  • Provide regular updates on project status.
  • Ensure projects meet federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Analyze plans, specifications, and reports including site, grading, utility, foundation, structural, and architectural drawings.
  • Interface with clients to meet their needs and provide project updates.
  • Utilize tools such as lump hammers, shovels, hand augers, and Nuclear Density Gauges.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 3-5 years of fieldwork or related experience
  • Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) preferred or ability to obtain within 2 years
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) preferred or ability to obtain within 2 years
  • NICET, NJ DCA Special Inspector, and Nuclear Densometer certification a plus
