About the position

The Assistant Project Manager at V2X plays a crucial role in supporting Radio Frequency (RF) engineering and systems testing. This position involves providing technical support, managing relationships with various teams, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. The role requires expertise in Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing, along with proficiency in analysis tools like MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with different teams and stakeholders.
• Allocate resources across projects, and track progress, costs, and hours on tasks.
• Perform technical support for real-world exercises as a SME for the Real-Time Spectrum Operations (RTSO) software.
• Develop Radar and Communications plans and instructional materials for remote and onsite technical training.
• Create technical support documentation to assist V2X Software tool users as required.
• Navigate multiple spectrum and frequency allocation databases to find information on systems of interest and apply this information to various analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited College or University or experience as a Spectrum Manager, communications and/or Radar Planner for a U.S. Navy Strike Group.
• Experience preparing technical documents and presentations.
• Experience with drafting tools such as Solidworks and/or AutoCAD.
• Experience creating/maintaining a point-of-contact information database.
• Experience creating and maintaining an active training tracker to record and monitor numbers of training personnel.
• Trained in the usage of Spectrum XXI.
• Past experience in MATLAB, Python, C, or C++ programming language.
• Proficient in producing comprehensive training materials for V2X software products.
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Must be a US citizen.
