About the position

The Assistant Property / Community Manager plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of leasing apartment homes and assisting in the overall management of the community. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to follow directions effectively. The role offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to work at various communities until a permanent fit is found.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day leasing of apartment homes to prospective residents.
  • Assist in the overall management of the community.
  • Handle office management duties including answering phone calls.
  • Provide customer service by resolving resident concerns.
  • Manage collections and maintain acceptable delinquency rates.
  • Familiarity with financial and close-out reports is required.
  • Conduct tours of the community and homes as needed.
  • Complete required paperwork and submit service requests.
  • Post rents and follow eviction and move-out processes.
  • Engage in marketing activities as needed.
