About the position

Royse City Secure Storage is seeking a dedicated and organized part-time Assistant Property Manager & Marketing Outreach Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our self-storage facility while assisting with marketing efforts to enhance our community presence. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working with people, and has a basic understanding of marketing principles. The successful candidate will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure smooth facility operations and contribute to our marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing tenant communications, including responding to inquiries, processing lease agreements, and addressing tenant concerns.
  • Support the Property Manager with tenant move-ins, move-outs, and retention efforts.
  • Help ensure timely rent collection and follow up on any delinquencies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep.
  • Assist in coordinating maintenance and repair requests, working with contractors to ensure timely service.
  • Help manage the inventory of supplies and maintain an organized office environment.
  • Assist in preparing and managing reports, budgets, and financial documentation.
  • Support the Property Manager in handling accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Assist in fostering relationships with key contacts in the Royse City community, including local businesses and city officials.
  • Help organize and participate in community events and networking opportunities to enhance the facility's visibility.
  • Assist in executing basic marketing initiatives, such as distributing flyers, updating social media, and helping create simple promotional materials.
  • Help maintain an active and positive presence on social media platforms.
  • Support other marketing tasks as needed, contributing ideas to increase tenant occupancy and community engagement.

Requirements

  • Experience in property management, real estate, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and community outreach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of the Royse City community is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in marketing, business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Knowledge in Storedge is a plus.
  • Spanish is a plus.

Benefits

  • Pay: From $18.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
  • Schedule: Day shift, Evenings as needed, Monday to Friday, Weekends as needed
