About the position

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team at the Pines at Southmoor Apartments in Greeley, Colorado. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $20 to $22, along with leasing and renewal bonuses. The company is recognized as one of the Best Places to Work by the National Apartment Association in 2021 and manages a substantial portfolio of 73,000 apartment units across 20 states, making it the 9th largest multifamily owner in the country according to NMHC. In addition to property management, Monarch operates a nationally franchised hotel and a ski and snowboard resort, providing a diverse work environment. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Property Manager with all on-site operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that tenant renewals are captured at the highest rate possible, which will involve managing a resident relations program and ensuring that the property is leased at or above market occupancy. You will also be responsible for showing and leasing apartments when the leasing agent is unavailable, and assisting the Property Manager in maintaining current and effective property marketing. This position is ideal for someone with a background in multifamily housing and strong computer skills, particularly with YARDI software. Bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in Spanish, are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Property Manager with all on-site property operations.
  • Ensure tenant renewals are being captured at the highest rate possible, earning commissions for successful renewals.
  • Build and maintain a resident relations program to enhance tenant satisfaction.
  • Show and lease apartments when the leasing agent is unavailable, ensuring the property is leased at or above market occupancy and at proper rent levels, with commissions paid for successful leases.
  • Assist the Property Manager in ensuring all property marketing is current, accurate, and effective.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years' experience in multifamily housing.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to navigate industry software, with YARDI preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
