About the position

The Assistant Property Manager is a vital role within our community, responsible for enhancing the living experience of residents and prospective tenants. This position serves as the primary point of contact for individuals seeking housing, managing lease agreements, and performing various managerial tasks as directed by the Property Manager. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a cheerful demeanor, and a proactive approach to property management.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents seeking a new home.
  • Create leases with current tenants and manage lease agreements.
  • Screen all incoming residents by qualification standards with strong telephone skills.
  • Maintain a professional appearance of self and the leasing office.
  • Contribute new ideas and solutions during brainstorming sessions with staff.
  • Conduct off-site marketing and assist in preparing marketing plans.
  • Assist with resident programs and retention efforts.
  • Support the Property Manager with duties such as delinquency management, rent renewals, and paperwork.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in property leasing (preferred).
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
  • Ability to relocate to West Palm Beach, FL before starting work (required).
