About the position

WinnCompanies is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team at Bravo Village, a beautiful Tax Credit / USDA community located in Woodlake, CA. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in managing, marketing, and maintaining the excellence of the community. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the Property Manager in overseeing all aspects of the property, which encompasses leasing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, service requests, and customer service. This position offers a pay range of $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will facilitate all aspects of the apartment leasing process, which includes handling administrative duties, managing rents and fees, maintaining the wait list, and overseeing notices and evictions. You will also be responsible for processing tenant recertifications and monitoring property reports using Yardi software. Promoting positive resident relations is essential, and you will be expected to respond to resident issues and complaints effectively. Additionally, you will provide assistance and back-up to the Property Manager as needed, ensuring smooth operations within the community. This role requires a proactive approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining superb attention to detail. Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all aspects of the apartment leasing process, including administrative duties, rents and fees, maintenance of the wait list, notices and evictions, etc.

  • Promote positive resident relations and respond to resident issues and complaints.
  • Provide assistance and back-up to the Property Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of office, administrative, or sales experience.
  • Less than 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with various computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1-2 years of property management experience.
  • Experience with tax credit programs.
  • Experience with Yardi or RealPage property management software.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
