About the position

The Assistant Property Manager/Leasing Agent position is an immediate opening with a well-established local company in Las Vegas, NV. This full-time role is essential for managing property leasing operations and ensuring that the property is maintained to high standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating, preparing, and enforcing leases and addendums, as well as inspecting make-ready units to ensure they meet quality standards. The role requires processing and approving new applications, corresponding with tenants through letters and emails, and managing rent collection, including issuing receipts, posting money, and depositing batches to corporate. Additionally, the Assistant Property Manager will handle returned checks and delinquent accounts, complete reports, and conduct daily physical inspections of the property to ensure it is well-maintained. In this role, the Assistant Property Manager will also be responsible for tenant repairs, ordering estimates and bids, creating work orders and purchase orders, and preparing 5-Day notices. The position requires initiating and preparing evictions when necessary and maintaining regular communication with management regarding any issues that arise, ensuring that company goals are met. The Assistant Property Manager will maintain rentals at optimum capacity and must possess an in-depth knowledge of market conditions to conduct rental market comparisons. Marketing responsibilities include creating and updating advertisements and the property website, as well as designing banners, posters, and flyers as needed. Weekly reports will also be part of the job duties, ensuring that all aspects of property management are documented and communicated effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years property management experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proper execution of company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Yardi, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
