About the position

The Assistant Property Manager/Leasing Consultant will support the daily operations of residential properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction and maintaining property standards. This part-time, contract position requires strong customer service skills and knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, with the potential for full-time employment in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Manager in managing day-to-day operations of the property.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective tenants.
  • Handle tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Keep track of tenant interactions and property maintenance requests.
  • Assist in the leasing process, including conducting property tours and processing applications.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Help with administrative tasks such as data entry and reporting.
  • Assist in executing lease agreements and renewals with tenants.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
  • Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are necessary for effective tenant interactions.
  • Familiarity with real estate administrative tasks is a plus.
  • Experience in facilities management or property management is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using office software and property management systems.
