As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the property while ensuring exceptional customer service. This part-time position offers a competitive hourly pay and a flexible schedule, with most shifts ending at 6:00 p.m. and Sundays off. You will be responsible for developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a WOW! or 5-Star service. This includes interacting face to face with customers, building rapport, and meeting monthly sales goals and metrics. Your responsibilities will also include walking the property to perform lock checks and showing units to customers. You will work both independently and as part of a team to rent self-storage spaces, sell store merchandise, manage the leasing process, accept payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), complete daily bank deposits, and make courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments. In addition to customer service, property maintenance is a key aspect of this role. You will be required to perform daily walks of the property, clean the units and the property, and manage the opening and closing of storage doors, which may weigh up to 50 lbs. Maintaining the facility includes mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and ensuring that the storage facility meets company guidelines for cleanliness and safety.
