This is a full-time benefit eligible position with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with weekends as needed. The Assistant Property Manager will assist the Property Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth running of the property and maintaining high standards of service and professionalism. The role includes a variety of responsibilities such as managing administrative supplies, collecting and recording rent, updating rent rolls, and completing work requests. The Assistant Property Manager is also responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and manner at all times, handling resident issues efficiently, and showing and leasing apartments. A thorough knowledge of leasing techniques and property rental information is essential, as is the ability to maintain a leasing closing ratio that meets company requirements. In addition, the Assistant Property Manager will assist in the design and implementation of resident retention programs, report any unusual circumstances regarding residents or the property, and comply with all industry Fair Housing rules. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Property Manager in day-to-day operations.
  • Responsible for the inventory and ordering of necessary administrative supplies and equipment.
  • Collect and record rent, updating rent roll.
  • Record and complete work requests.
  • Ensure a professional appearance and manner at all times.
  • Handle resident issues efficiently and effectively while maintaining Bader's standard of professionalism.
  • Show and lease apartments.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of leasing techniques and sales methods as designated by Bader.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of property rental information.
  • Maintain a leasing closing ratio that meets Bader's requirements.
  • Efficiently and timely report, maintain, and submit administrative forms, files, and reports.
  • Cash receipt rent payments promptly and correctly, make bank deposits, reconcile account ledgers, and send out late rent letters.
  • Assist the Property Manager in the design and implementation of resident retention programs.
  • Report any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the residents or the property.
  • Comply with all industry Fair Housing rules.
  • Seek educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development.

Requirements

  • Experience in property management or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
