About the position

As an Assistant Property Manager (APM) at Bozzuto, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional experiences for residents while embodying the company's core values of creativity, concern, passion, and the pursuit of perfection. This leadership position requires a blend of strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing financial objectives, marketing the community, and ensuring a positive living experience for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Leading by example and embodying the core values and culture of Bozzuto.
  • Achieving financial objectives through effective rent collection and managing delinquency.
  • Conducting informative and personalized tours of the community to drive new leases.
  • Building brand loyalty by ensuring every resident interaction is positive.
  • Maintaining impeccable interior and exterior community standards and representing the Bozzuto brand professionally.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and inspiring team members.
  • Working weekends to assist prospective residents in their home search, typically one to two weekends per month with two days off during the week.
  • Taking responsibility for leading in the absence of the Property Manager.

Requirements

  • A college degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in property management, hospitality, or retail industries.
  • Exposure to revenue, P&L, and budget management.
  • Proficient in leveraging social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram to create engaging content.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent with industry software (YARDI preferred), apps, and computer programs.
  • Sales aptitude.
  • A real estate license or willingness to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
