About the position

As an Assistant Property Manager at Sterling Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the property meets or exceeds the expectations of owners, tenants, vendors, and all customers. This position requires a self-driven professional with high accountability and integrity, who can maintain open communication with the Property Manager regarding any property issues. You will be responsible for opening the office and inspecting the property as scheduled, ensuring that all aspects of the property are well-maintained and operational. In addition to property management duties, you will assist in generating and increasing monthly and annual income through effective marketing strategies. This includes completing outreach marketing and coordinating a plan with the site manager to maximize the effectiveness of visits, calls, emails, and other communication methods. You will also assist in developing a Marketing Action Plan with strategies aimed at meeting or exceeding budgeted income, occupancy, expense, and leasing goals. Your role is vital in fostering a family-friendly culture and promoting work-life balance within the organization, as well as contributing to the overall goal of customer loyalty by exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with ensuring the property meets or exceeds the expectations of the owners, tenants, vendors, and all customers.
  • Maintain open communication to keep the manager apprised of any property issues.
  • Open office and inspect property as scheduled.
  • Assist in generating and increasing monthly and annual income.
  • Complete Outreach Marketing and coordinate a plan with the site manager to maximize effectiveness of visits, calls, emails, etc.
  • Assist in developing a Marketing Action Plan with strategies to meet or exceed budgeted income, occupancy, expense, and leasing goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D required.
  • Education in Marketing preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in property management, retail services, or sales strongly desired.
  • Available to assist in after-hour emergencies as needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations, communicative skills, and a customer-focused service orientation.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • SiteLink Program knowledge a plus.
  • Proficient reading, writing, mathematical, and grammar skills.
