Your responsibilities will include handling all aspects of leasing apartments, which involves greeting prospective residents, touring the community, and closing the sale prior to move-in. You will also conduct inspections of vacant apartments to ensure they are show-ready, monitor the accuracy of advertisements, and assist in leasing events and promotions. A strong marketing and sales ability is necessary to increase occupancy and resident satisfaction, and you will need to maintain a working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations concerning multi-family leasing and management. This position requires a professional appearance and demeanor, as well as the ability to create relationships with residents and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of leasing apartments, including greeting prospective residents, touring the community, and closing the sale prior to move-in.
• Conduct inspections of vacant apartments to ensure they are show-ready.
• Monitor the accuracy of advertisements and document traffic and marketing sources.
• Assist in leasing events and promotions and follow up with leads.
• Use a creative and energetic approach to marketing the community and its advantages.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations concerning multi-family leasing and management.
• Perform inspections of common areas and community amenities.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the Property Manager.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience as a Leasing Consultant or Assistant Manager.
• Superior telephone, oral, and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in a results-oriented, team-based property management environment.
• Experience with Resman or other property management software is a plus.
• Marketing and sales abilities to increase occupancy and resident satisfaction.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
• Professional appearance and demeanor required.
• Ability to create relationships with residents and vendors and work with a diverse array of people.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves
