About the position

The Assistant Property Manager will support property management operations, ensuring exceptional service for residents while maintaining property standards. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and efficient management of various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager in daily operations and management of the property.
• Provide outstanding customer service to residents and prospective tenants.
• Handle leasing inquiries and conduct property tours, effectively upselling available units.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant files, lease agreements, and contracts using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Support marketing efforts by assisting with property showings and promotional activities.
• Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants while adhering to company policies.
• Manage administrative tasks including filing, documentation, and reporting as required.
• Collaborate with facilities management to ensure the property is well-maintained and meets safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction.
• Proficiency in property management software (Yardi or OneSite) is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong negotiation skills to facilitate lease agreements and contracts.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Familiarity with facilities management practices is advantageous.
• High level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
