About the position

The Assistant Property Manager at Lynd Management Group, LLC plays a crucial role in supporting the Property Manager in overseeing property operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining financial performance. This position involves managing leasing activities, resident relations, and office management tasks, while also stepping in for the Property Manager when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Property Manager in overseeing property operations.
  • Generate satisfactory cash flow and customer service for current and prospective residents.
  • Manage leasing activities, including responding to inquiries and conducting tours.
  • Negotiate new leases and renewals according to property specifications.
  • Maintain resident files and ensure timely move-ins for new residents.
  • Handle maintenance requests and follow up with residents on service completion.
  • Collect rent and post payments into RealPage OneSite.
  • Complete various reports including vacancy and market surveys.
  • Communicate with delinquent residents regarding late and eviction notices.
  • Plan and attend community events for residents.
  • Monitor property aesthetics and report safety hazards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in property management, leasing, or customer service.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local housing laws and regulations.
  • Strong sales skills and ability to close leases.
  • Customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn RealPage OneSite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in hospitality or sales/marketing is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
