About the position

The Assistant Property Manager plays a crucial role in managing residential operations and enhancing the living experience for residents. This position focuses on providing exceptional customer service, assisting with rental transactions, and fostering positive relationships within the community. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage various tasks while embodying the company's values of integrity, accountability, respect, and inclusivity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payables and collections with attention to detail and quality control.
  • Provide exceptional service to residents regarding their renting experience, including leases and maintenance.
  • Assist with marketing efforts to attract and retain residents through community events and outreach.
  • Engage with the team and collaborate with the Property Manager and fellow teammates.
  • Maintain effective communication through various channels, adhering to company expectations.
  • Lease and pre-lease apartment homes, ensuring compliance with lease requirements and providing tours.
  • Maintain a neat office/clubhouse and assist with community upkeep.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of customer service or sales experience.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within and lead a team.
  • Advanced computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Suite.
  • Property Management skills/experience.
  • Adherence to Fair Housing best practices.
