About the position

The Nagler Group is seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Property Manager to join our team in Sudbury, MA. This position is crucial for the effective management of a property consisting of 100 units, which includes both brand-new and 10-year-old residences. The Assistant Property Manager will play a key role in fostering positive relationships with staff, residents, vendors, and associated agencies, ensuring a harmonious living environment for all residents. In this role, you will assist in completing required reports for clients, management, and applicable agencies in a timely manner. You will also help conduct annual unit inspections, working towards maintaining the highest occupancy levels possible. It is essential to ensure that sufficient resident programs are available to enhance community engagement and satisfaction. Additionally, you will manage rent collections and input rent checks into Yardi, our property management software, while enforcing and adhering to company policies, rules, safety practices, and regulations. A strong understanding and compliance with Fair Housing laws and standards is also a critical aspect of this position. The Assistant Property Manager will participate in training seminars as needed to stay updated on industry standards and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software such as Yardi is essential for success in this role. This position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $65,000 annually, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • College degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of assistant property manager experience required.
  • Affordable housing experience required.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be organized, efficient, able to prioritize, and have excellent follow-up, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software programs is essential.
