The Assistant Property Manager at Encompass Housing plays a crucial role in supporting the Property Manager in the daily operations of the property. Providing excellent customer service to residents is essential, as is facilitating the move-in and move-out processes, including conducting walk-through inspections. The Assistant Property Manager will assist with the leasing process by showing units to prospective tenants and ensuring that lease agreements are properly executed and filed. Additionally, the Assistant Property Manager will enforce lease terms, handle lease violations, and prepare files for eviction proceedings when necessary. They will implement and monitor security measures to protect residents and the property, respond to after-hours emergencies, and coordinate with emergency services as needed. The role also involves coordinating with vendors and contractors for services such as landscaping, pest control, and cleaning, while overseeing the quality of work performed by external service providers.
