About the position

Morgan Properties is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will actively contribute to the successful management of our community by addressing resident needs, managing delinquencies, supporting property operations, and collaborating closely with our property management team.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate eviction processes, manage necessary documentation, and represent the property in court hearings as required.
  • Support timely follow-up and resolution of delinquent accounts.
  • Provide comprehensive operational support to ensure property efficiency.
  • Assist in training, coaching, and mentoring office team members.
  • Participate in team meetings and document proceedings as needed.
  • Support the Property Manager in processing payments and managing purchase orders.
  • Complete additional administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Collaborate with and manage vendor relationships to ensure accuracy of services and compliance.
  • Process resident payments, refunds, and account setups accurately.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of leasing documentation and account records.
  • Actively assist with marketing efforts and leasing-related follow-ups.
  • Handle resident concerns proactively to foster positive community relationships.
  • Verify accuracy and compliance of resident information and documentation.
  • Manage security deposit processing.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-3 years of property management, sales, or customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated training or background in Sales and/or Customer Service.
  • Prior managerial or property management experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle resident issues with diplomacy and effectiveness.
