About the position

The Assistant Recruiter at Inclusion Services, LLC plays a crucial role in the recruitment process, focusing on the design and implementation of effective recruiting strategies tailored to meet the company's needs. This position requires close collaboration with department Directors and the Director of Recruitment to ensure that recruitment strategies align with current hiring demands. The Assistant Recruiter will coordinate recruitment processes across all departments, actively participate in job fairs and resource events, and engage with educational institutions to attract potential candidates from relevant catchment areas. In addition to recruitment responsibilities, the Assistant Recruiter will conduct new hire orientations, ensuring that new employees are well-informed about company policies and procedures. This role also involves managing applicant records, maintaining compliance with licensing regulations, and utilizing the Paycom Applicant Tracking System to streamline the hiring process. The Assistant Recruiter will be responsible for maintaining organized office operations, responding promptly to communications, and submitting weekly recaps of recruitment activities. The position requires a commitment to professional development, including attending continuing education training classes, and maintaining high standards of confidentiality and work ethics. The Assistant Recruiter will also be expected to assist with special projects as directed by the Director of Recruitment and contribute to the overall goals and objectives of Inclusion Services, LLC.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design and implementation of the overall recruiting strategy for the company.
  • Communicate with department Directors/Administrators and Director of Recruitment to ensure strategies meet the current recruitment needs of the company.
  • Coordinate the recruitment processes for all company departments.
  • Grow the recruitment network by becoming an active member within industry organizations.
  • Interact with colleges and universities to receive and screen potential applicants for company catchment areas.
  • Review and screen resumes from recruitment networking resources.
  • Ensure applicant has all required documents and is in compliance.
  • Schedule interviews with Program Director and/or Supervisor as needed.
  • Maintain applicant records for all job positions.
  • Maintain recruitment quota given by Director of Recruitment.
  • Process applicants for licensed facilities following licensing regulations that apply to each Licensed Program.
  • Maintain a new hire bulletin board, coordinate & maintain the applicant/s hiring process to ensure updates to AST, SLS, Day Program, and ISP facility Supervisors/Directors/Administrators.
  • Participate in Job Fairs/Resource Events such as Career Centers, Colleges, and other business-related events as required.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation for Inclusion Companies, scheduling and organizing sessions with department trainers and consultants.
  • Explain all pages of company policies and procedures to new hires.
  • Distribute company equipment to new hires and obtain signatures for all new hire documents and equipment through Paycom.
  • Ensure all applicants filter through Paycom Applicant Tracking System and process all new hires using this system.
  • Review all Pre-hire and Hiring Process checklist for accuracy and submit to payroll after review and approval.
  • Assist Director of Recruitment with special projects and maintain updates on the company's social media under supervision.
  • Ensure the office is organized and secured at all times, maintaining a clean and organized work station.
  • Respond to phone calls, text messages, and e-mails to management & administrative staff within a short period of time during business hours.
  • Develop and submit a daily recap of duties completed for the prior week and a weekly Recruitment recap.
  • Maintain all recruitment trackers up to date.
  • Attend 12 hours of continuing education training classes for professional & personal development.
  • Submit time-off requests and any changes to the daily work schedule for pre-approval.
  • Maintain a high level of honesty, confidentiality, and work ethics, and communicate professionally with colleagues.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 1 year of experience in recruiting is required.
  • Valid California Driver's License is required.
