About the position

The Assistant Registrar is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Registrar's office at Trinity Health, focusing on transfer articulation, integration and maintenance of student systems, and communication with students, faculty, and academic departments. This role also involves external reporting, enhancing registration systems, and maintaining student academic records.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Student Information System for the Registrar's office, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Oversee the enrollment verification process at the beginning of each semester, coordinating with faculty for student attendance verification to meet federal financial aid compliance.
  • Administer Transferology, maintaining knowledge of transfer credit practices, articulation agreements, and transfer guides.
  • Create and maintain the Degree Audit Module.
  • Generate reports for internal and external recipients.
  • Assist students with registration, degree audits, and withdrawal requests.
  • Serve as a school certifying official for the Veterans Administration.
  • Assist the Registrar in developing course term schedules, updating the College catalog, and maintaining the Registrar's Office webpage.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating commencement activities.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in a higher education student affairs department.
  • Ability to interpret policy and make sound independent decisions.
  • Technical ability with information systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of governmental regulations pertaining to higher education.
  • Experience working in a Registrar's office preferred.
