About the position

The Assistant Research Professor position at Drexel University is a full-time faculty role focused on conducting research in the areas of eating disorders and obesity. The successful candidate will collaborate with interprofessional research teams within the WELL Center, serve as a study therapist and clinical supervisor, and develop an independent line of research. This non-tenure track position requires yearly approvals based on funding and performance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as study therapist and clinical supervisor.
• Contribute to analysis and writing of manuscripts.
• Assist in research study project management.
• Participate in study meetings.
• Write extramural grant proposals.

Requirements

• Minimum of a PhD or Doctorate in psychology or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Established record of research in eating disorders or obesity.
• Participation as principal investigator or co-investigator on funded research.
• Excellent record of collegiality and collaboration.
• Expertise in clinical trials research.
• Expertise in clinical supervision and the provision of clinical services.
