About the position

The Assistant Restaurant Lounge Manager at Jubitz Travel Center is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Cascade Grill Restaurant and the Ponderosa Lounge & Grill. This role involves managing a team of 10-15 employees, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high operational standards in a fast-paced environment. The position offers opportunities for career growth and development within a supportive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise on-shift operations in the restaurant and lounge.
  • Provide performance support and coaching for staff members.
  • Conduct interviews and write weekly schedules for employees.
  • Ensure daily shift balancing and manage other supervisory tasks as needed.
  • Partner with the General Manager to establish service standards and policies.
  • Execute business programs on behalf of Jubitz in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED required.
  • Minimum three years' experience in full-service restaurant and/or bar operations.
  • Minimum one year previous supervisory experience required.
  • Must have currently active Oregon Food Handler's Card and OLCC Permit, or obtain within 30 days of employment.
