About the position

The Bobs Squad Assistant Sales Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the omnichannel sales teams at Bob's Discount Furniture. This position is responsible for managing and motivating a team to meet or exceed sales goals while ensuring adherence to the company's core values and vision. The Assistant Sales Manager acts as a liaison between Store Operations and corporate departments, maintains a strong virtual presence to drive engagement, and is accountable for the success and development of the Omnichannel Sales Associates. Additionally, this role includes responsibilities such as recruiting, training, and conducting performance assessments of team members.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the omnichannel sales teams and ensure they meet sales goals.
  • Manage and motivate a team of sales associates.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate sales activities in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison for Store Operations and communicate with corporate departments.
  • Maintain a significant virtual presence to drive engagement and sales.
  • Assist with customer experience opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new sales associates.
  • Conduct regular department meetings to review progress and company initiatives.
  • Complete annual reviews and assess the performance of associates.
  • Partner with Human Resource Management for employee discipline and orientations.
